Cosmic Crawler App Reviews

When I opened up Cosmic Crawler for the first time I was rather confused. I thought I was in the open source app Celesita ( I am a long time user ). It took a double check to my dock to realize that I was really in Cosmic Crawler. Cosmic Crawler even went as far as to open up my Celestia mods. Despite the fact the I paid $2.99 for cosmic crawler I trashed it moments later. I wish apple would censor this kind of shinanigans.

This program continually fails to load--fatal error. Im operating a new iMac with Lion installed. Dont waste your money. You owe me a refund, Apple.

I was completely unsuccessful at navigating to a close up view of Mars,or anything else for that matter,even after I center it I still fly off to the side and it happens too fast to correct it and now I am looking at stars. Often when I type someting into the" go to" box it lists it as object not found,even for simple stuff like Andromeda galaxy. Sometimes the screen is blank. Sometimes it puts me inside the atmosphere of the planet or star and I am stuck there with nothing to look at. The demo movie is neat to watch but other than that this thing has been worthless,I think it needs a whole lot of work to become at all useable. I am very disappointed, and not at all satisfied. oh well,not the first time I have spent money on an app I promptly delete...

Sure, only out $3, but its very frustrating that this app DOES NOT WORK. Maybe Lion users will have better luck.

Doesnt work at all. Immediately crashes on startup. Running 10.6.8 on my macbook.

It seems to not be working. Looks like a sweet application though. Please fix!!

I love this app! It runs perfectly and Im exploring the solar system, other stars, their extrasolar planets and other galaxies!! Best $3 ever spent! If it doesnt work properly the first time, just uninstall and reinstall it. It seriously makes you feel like an astronomer! I HAVE AN ENITRE DIFFERENT OUTLOOK ON SPACE NOW BECAUSE OF THIS WONDERFUL APP THAT EVERYONE WITH A MAC SHOULD OWN!!! (controls are expert, for a simpler look at the solar system, other stars and our galaxy with simple controls download "Solar Walk" same price but not as cool)

Well that was a wast of 2 bucks. It wont even load. I get "Error loading data files. Cosmic Crawler will now quit." Dont even bother.

so, it doesnt do much at all and what it does it doesnt do well. You are limited to where you can go. What is the reason for this? Is this what they call an orphan because nothing has been done to it since 2011 and it is halfway though 2013

Fatal Error warning pops up when I open app. OS X 10.10. Needs to be fixed.
