Cosmic Crawler App Reviews

Something must be done to make this app more friendly. Good design, lots of stuffs but after 3 days I just zoom in and out.... or find something through de browser. Also a much better help would HELP finding and or how do things with this app.

Infelizmente não li os comentários na App Store em inglês. Este software não abre. O link de suporte não leva a lugar algum. Entrei em contato pelo email pessoal do autor. Caso o problema seja resolvido informo por aqui. Unfortunately I havent read the comments on the american App Store. This software wont start. The support link wont lead you anywhere. I got in touch with the author using his personal email. In case the problem is solved I will inform using this comment system.

Wow !! , I am pleasantly surprised with this app , I find it has more detailed info than solar walk , Dont get me wrong I enjoy Solar walk , The graphics are awsome , But IMO , education wise , This app has more indepth information about the solar system than Solar walk , Ive had the app for a couple of days and so far the only complaint that I have so far are the, controls and navigation which im sure will take time to get used to , For the price , Cosmic crawler is definetly worth the $$

I bought this app because it looked interesting. After download, I tried to start the app and I keep getting a fatal error while trying to load the data files. Went to the website to fill out a bug report and the form wouldnt send. Get it together and fix the problem or refund my money please!!

It totally works just need to realize what it does. Its the first time Ive seen an app that gives you the true sense of how vast the universe is let alone our galaxy just needed a little time to figure it out. It could be a little more user friendly and the pictures could perhaps be more enhanced? It would also be good to have more info on objects and perhaps pictures - for example the Sun. If it had this definitely a 5 star.

THIS APP IS STILL BROKEN! What is happening with Apple these days? Do they even bother testing the apps that people upload? This application DOES NOT WORK. Looked promising, so I wont delete it for a week or so - on the off chance this isnt a SCAM.

Bought this app in january. Despite 3 updates, it still doesnt work. Even after sending an extensive system profile to the developper, it still crashes when opening. Come on, Mr Developper, be honest and fix or refund. Come on Apple, read this and do something about this developper. App Store is based on trust and reputation. A situation like this doesnt do much in their favor.

I tried this app even thought it was having bad reviews it runs great on my imac very cool.

I agree with the 1 Star reviews. Upon launch the app says "Error Loading Files, Cosmic Crawler Will Now Quit." And it does. The app does not work. This on a laptop running the latest OSX Lion and v3.1.1 of the app. Apple should remove this app from the store. It surely must violate some store rules, such as your app must work! Not only that, but the links to the developers website and support site do not work. Surely, all developers must have an active support site to qualify for the App Store.

I usually wouldnt do this to another developer but Im having the same issue. After investigating a bit......I discovered that this is just repackaged version of the open-source app Celestia.

No change. Same error: Fatal Error Error loading data files. Cosmic Crawler will now quit. Seriously, can I get my money back???

Cosmic Crawler appears to be the copywrited Open Source freeware application Celestia. The Celestia banner shows when the application launches. The seller Michael Latour is not listed as a member of the Celestia developement team. If he is not a member of the Celestia developement team and he is selling their product without crediting the developement team or without their permission he is engaged in software theft. If this is the case Apple should pull this application from the App Store and redirect all collected funds to the Celestia developement team. If I am incorrect in my assessment I offer my apology & would appreciate an explanation of the Celestia startup banner. ...rmk

This does not run. It is also a complete rip-off of Celestia which is a free open-source astronomy sim. The developer should be ashamed. Apple please censure this developer!!!

Well that was a waste of 3 bucks. Wont launch, wont work. Updated it. It still crashes. No change.

I foolishly down loaded this "app" even after reading reviews that it wont load. I thought Id give it try because according to the "Whats New, etc." this problem was corrected. All I know is that I threw away 3 bucks. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS "APP." IT IS A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. "Error Loading Data Files Cosmic Crawler Has Now Taken Up Your Time & Money!

I Downloaded the app Cosmic Crawler & it works excellent on my 24inch iMac Computer & it is the coolest app, its ok, works good. :)

I received this message when i tried to open the app...Error loading data files. Cosmic Crawler will now quit.
